L'Armonia Boston is proud to invite her to lead us in her Boston-area debut. The former leader of Toronto's famed Tafelmusik, Elisa is a celebrated master of period violin and a deeply insightful director.She has curated a program of music from across 17th- and 18th-century Europe that describes various passions in sound, and in so doing rouses yours. At times heartbreaking and at others astonishing and glittering with techincal brilliance, this program aims to transport both players and listeners to realms only music can reach. Elisa will be joined by L'Armonia's roster of experts alongside gifted up-and-coming performers from New England Conservatory's Pratt Early Music Program.
