MEET our BOARD


Brenda Gray Reny

is a retired Private Wealth Management Executive, with a 25 year career spanning commercial lending, private banking, and family office management. 

Most recently, Brenda was the Regional Market Executive and FINRA supervisory principal for southern New England for TD Private Wealth. Other roles have included Chief Operating Officer and founding partner, Daintree Advisors LLC; Director, Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management; and Senior Vice President, the Private Bank at the Bank of America. 

Prior to her career in banking, Brenda was a college professor in Archaeology at the University of Pennsylvania, where she did her graduate work.  Brenda has led and participated in excavations at historical sites in the US, as well as many Roman and medieval sites in England, France, and Italy.  

Active on many non-profit boards, she was the co- founder of Womenade Boston (a giving circle to fund grants to organizations serving women and girls in the greater Boston area).  She also served on the boards of Agassiz Village (summer camp in ME for inner city Boston youth) and Parenting Resource Associates ( breaking the cycle of homelessness and lack of job skills for women in the Boston area).  

Currently, Brenda is the immediate past Chair and current board member of the Memorial Day Flowers Foundation (honoring Veterans), and a board member for Project Education, Inc ( a high school in Kenya).  A current Governor of the Handel and Haydn Society, Brenda has served on the H + H board for 19 years and is the Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee.  

Education includes Wesleyan University (BA), University of Pennsylvania (MA, Ph.D ABD), and the Wharton School (program for Ph.Ds in career transition).
